The Year in Books — 2018

Well, here it is, my year in reading material. As ever, it’s fun to look through the list and remember the season and circumstance of each reading. As in previous years, with a few exceptions, I mostly only read things I know I will likely enjoy on some level, so this whole list is largely a recommendation in itself, but my favorites are starred and my top five novels and top five nonfiction titles are in bold, with a bonus graphic novel thrown in.

You can read a bit more about some of these books in old posts here and here. Hit me up with questions if you want to hear about any others.

Happy New Year!
